3D Bioprinting for Precision Medicine and Drug Development Briefing Session

Successful Briefing on 3D BioPrinting of Patient Tumors for Next-Generation Precision Medicine and Drug Development Held in Kuala Lumpur.

On 11th August 2024, a landmark briefing session on “3D BioPrinting of Patient Tumors for Next-Generation Precision Medicine and Drug Development” was successfully held at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

The event, chaired by Dato’ Lee Boon Chye, brought together nearly 30 industry leaders and academic experts to delve into the cutting-edge advancements in 3D BioPrinting technology.

The session featured notable presentations from distinguished speakers:

 

  • Professor Yang Huayu, a leading researcher from the Department of Liver Surgery at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, who shared his pioneering research in 3D BioPrinting applications.

  • Mr. Zhang Jiangang, Chief Technology Officer of Ningbo Changdu Biotechnology Co., Ltd., who provided an in-depth exploration of the technological innovations driving this transformative field.

  • Dr. Yang Huiyu, Chief Medical Officer of Ningbo Changdu Biotechnology Co., Ltd., who discussed the clinical implications and future potential of 3D BioPrinting in the realm of precision medicine.

This pivotal session was made possible through the collaboration of Centre of Regional Strategic Studies (CROSS), Persatuan Promosi Teknologi Malaysia-China, and the Department of Liver Surgery at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, successfully uniting key stakeholders from Malaysia and China.
