Dr Lee Boon Chye is a Malaysian politician who served as the Deputy Minister of Health in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister of Health Dzulkefly Ahmad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Gopeng from March 2008 to November 2022.

Dr Lee graduated from medical school in 1985 from the University of Malaya, where he then went to the United Kingdom to get his Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) in 1989. He worked as a cardiologist in the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, Scotland while getting his Masters in Medicine at UKM in 1992. He was awarded the fellowship of National Heart Association of Malaysia in 2009 and fellowship of Asean Federation of Cardiology in 2019.

Dr Lee has been working as the Consultant Physician & Cardiologist of KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital since 1994.
