Lim Kah Hoe

Lim Kah Hoe is a Malaysian curator, cultural practitioner, and writer with a strong focus on heritage, museology, and community engagement. He currently serves as the Chief Curator of the Malaysian Chinese Museum, where he is actively involved in preserving and presenting the cultural narratives and historical contributions of the Malaysian Chinese community. In addition to his curatorial work, Lim is an independent curator, columnist, lecturer, and producer, contributing to public discourse and cultural education across multiple platforms. 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the School of Archaeology and Museology at Peking University (2010–2014), where he developed a solid academic foundation in heritage studies and historical research. His multidisciplinary career reflects a blend of academic training and practical experience, spanning exhibition curation, media production, and education. As a columnist for Sin Chew Daily, Lim also engages the wider public through accessible commentary on culture, history, and society. 

Beyond his professional roles, Lim is actively involved in various cultural and business associations. He serves as a Council Member of the Malaysia Lin Chamber of Commerce and the Malaysia Confucius Businessmen Association, as well as a Standing Council Member of the World Anxi Youth Association. He is also a Director and Youth Wing Advisor of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Anxi Association. Through these platforms, Lim contributes to strengthening cultural ties, fostering youth engagement, and promoting cross-regional connections within the Chinese diaspora community.
