Ms. Zumrat Obul, in her address, emphasized Xinjiang’s rich multicultural heritage, noting that “56 ethnic groups coexist peacefully, forming a harmonious society built on mutual respect and unity.” She highlighted how this diversity strengthens the region’s social fabric and invited Malaysians to explore Xinjiang’s cultural richness and natural beauty.

Ms. Zumrat also discussed Xinjiang’s strategic importance in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, offering opportunities for Malaysia to collaborate in infrastructure, energy, and trade. She pointed out that Xinjiang’s government ensures that decisions reflect the people’s will, fostering both economic development and social stability.

The region’s warm and welcoming residents are eager to share their stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and flavorful cuisine with visitors.
